My Memories Suite v2 - Review and Giveaway!

As some of you know we are persuing our second adoption, so I thought I would start a blog about our journey. What a way to kick off a new blog - with a giveaway!

I was surprised to find out how much has changed in the three short years since we began our adoption of Stella. Last time we just had to make a profile book, print it off, and turn it in. If any of you have actually written a profile book, you realize that is still no small feat! A profile book is a book the agency shows to potential birthmothers that tells all about a family. However for this adoption we need to make a family website and a digital scrapbook profile.

Um...here's a little secret, I am technology challanged. So I thought I might go with a service that would do the profile for me, but with a several hundred dollar price tag I wasn't pumped about it. Then one of my friends told me about My Memories Suite, a digital scrapbooking software program. She promised it was easy, which usually means easy for other people. But when I ran across an opportunity to review it on my new blog, I thought what the hay.

Amazingly, it is super easy to use! Basically if you have used Word or any type of computer program whatsoever you can figure it out. I just got back from vacation and plugged a few pictures in without even looking at the directions on how to do it and I think my pages look pretty cool. These are very much the tip of the iceburg- My Memories has tons of embellishments and paper choices that come with the software and tons more you can download free or cheap.

Plus digital scrapbooking is not all you isn't even all this program can do! You can make calendars, greeting cards, trading cards, posters, scrapbook on your facebook page, put in videos and music. All kinds of cool stuff!

Now on to the giveaway. My Memories has given me a copy to give to one of my readers!!! Isn't that awesome?! All you have to do is go to http://www.mymemories.com/ and leave a comment here on my blog saying which digital paper pack you think I should choose for our profile book. Please make sure you leave your name or some way to get in touch with you if you win. If you want extra entries you can go to http://blog.mymemories.com/ and follow the My Memories blog, you can like My Memories on facebook, and follow my blog. Just leave a seperate comment for each entry. The giveaway will close at midnight July 3rd and the winner will be contacted the morning of the 4th.

In case you don't win, but still want this awesome software My Memories has been generous enough to provide my readers with a discount code!
